In the first week after the summer holidays Srebrenica genocide trials are due to continue before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On August 10, 12 and 13 the Defence of Radomir Vukovic and Zoran Tomic, who are charged with genocide committed in Srebrenica, will continue presenting evidence before the War Crimes Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina charges Vukovic and Tomic, as former members of the Second Special Police Squad from Sekovici, with having participated on July 13, 1995 in capturing and shooting more than 1,000 men in the Agricultural Cooperative in Kravica, Bratunac Municipality.

On Wednesday, August 12 new Prosecution witnesses are due to testify at the trial of Momir Pelemis and Slavko Peric, former members of the Zvornik Brigade with the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, who are charged with "planning, abetting, ordering and helping" others murder captured Srebrenica residents who were brought to the "Kula" school building in Pilica and Pilica Center, in Zvornik Municipality, in July 1995.

On Monday, August 10 a hearing is due to take place as part of the trial of Milisav Gavric, former Deputy Commander of the Police Station in Srebrenica, who is charged with crimes against humanity "in relation to genocide".

In June 2008 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the indictment against Gavric. However, the indictee is currently beyond the reach of prosecution bodies. He is believed to be in Serbia. When the indictment was filed, the State Prosecution did not file for the issuance of a warant but filed a custody order motion in the case of this indictee.

The Defence of Predrag Bastah and Goran Viskovic will continue presenting evidence on Monday next week. The two men are charged with participation in the murder, torture, unlawful detention, rape and forcible resettlement and disappearance of Bosniaks from the Vlasenica area, from April to September 1992.

On the same day new Prosecution witnesses are due to appear at the trial of Vinko Kondic, Marko Adamovic and Bosko Lukic, who are charged with helping to organize a group of people and abetting them to commit genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes in the Kljuc area during 1991 and 1992.

The Defence of Gojko Klickovic, Mladen Drljaca and Jovan Ostojic will continue presenting evidence on Tuesday, August 11. The State Prosecution charges the three men with having committed crimes against humanity in the Bosanska Krupa area during the course of 1992.

The Prosecution is due to continue presenting material evidence at the trial of the Bugojno Four scheduled for August 12. Nisvet Gasal, Musajb Kukavica, Enes Handzic and Senad Dautovic are charged with crimes committed against Croatian civilians who were detained in garages in Bugojno, the gymnasium building and "Iskra" football stadium detention camp during the course of 1993 and 1994.
