Open letter to professor doctor Edward Herman, denial of genocide against Bosniaks in the safe zone United Nation, Srebrenica, July 1995.
GENOCIDE IN SREBRENICA IN CONTINUITY FOUR YEARS ALSO IS COMMITTED TO THREE-QUARTERS TERRITORY OF BOSNIA
Genocide, as one of the most complex social phenomena undergoes numerous empirical scientific research by individuals – scientists, researchers and institutions that commit to scientific investigation, in which the scientific studies are able to prove or confirm genocide. In addition, scientific, and technical research are addressed by institutional actors (institutions prosecution and the court - both domestic and international), which carried out the research within the profession, proving the truth, not only in an organized genocide, but also by the so-called principle, enforcement of intellectual responsibility and individual responsibility for genocide.
Not so often is the case, when it comes to genocide that there is an unreserved agreement between academia and the actual act of genocide, as is the case with the crime of genocide in the territory of the UN safe zone of Srebrenica. Approval of the worst atrocities in Europe since World War II, the crime of genocide in the UN security zone, Srebrenica has been confirmed by the International Criminal Court, many national courts and most respectable scientific research institutions in the world.
Given the fact that Prof. Dr. Edward Herman negates the results of scientific research, as a member of the scientific community, we would like to direct him to the results of the Republika Srpska Government - the Commission for its investigation of events in and around Srebrenica from 10 to 19 July 1995. The results from the working groups of the same name, which are without any doubt valid and reliable, will break the illusion, delusion, machinations, manipulations and forgeries that Prof. Dr. Edward Herman writes regarding the genocide in the territory of the United Nations safe zone of Srebrenica, July 1995.
The Commission Report can be obtained from the Government of the Republika Srpska and from the Institute for Research for Crimes against Humanity and International Law of the University of Sarajevo. The report was published and adopted by consensus in 2004, which means that members of the Commission of Republika Srpska concurred that is all the facts stated in the statement are true. Based on the number of relevant indicators from multiple sources the Commission has demonstrated the following:
1. There is evidence of Serbian political, military and police leadership involvement in the planning and execution of the crime of genocide. There exists information about the ordering of genocide in Srebrenica by the then political leader Radovan Karadzic.
2. There is evidence of involvement by the Yugoslav People’s Army and MUP of Serbia in the Srebrenica genocide, as well as the participation of volunteers from Serbia, Greece and Russia. On the basis of the relevant documents, in addition to the Ministry of Interior of the Republika Srpska, it was found that participating in these events, were also members of the two units of the Serbian Interior Ministry, the "Scorpions" and the other controlled by Visilij Mijovic.
3. Numerical strength of the Army of the Republika Srpska units that participated in the genocide in Srebrenica wholly or partially was 22,952. This number includes the commanders and the direct perpetrators, as well as foreign nationals, including those who have voluntary access to Army of Republika Srpska and are now members of the Army of Serbia and Montenegro, and former Yugoslav People’s Army.
In his scholarly study, "Genocide and the truth about the genocide in Bosnia," Professor Dr. Smail Cekic, one of the leading international researchers of genocide states that the previously unknown details about the crime of genocide in Srebrenica will solve the problems of Illusion that prevent lasting peace and the necessary traditional community life in Bosnia and Herzegovina. "Genocide in Srebrenica took place in 14 municipalities, the victims of this genocide are the 12 municipalities," says Professor Cekic in his latest book.
The crime of genocide in Srebrenica is only part of a crime against humanity and international law committed in the continuity of four years to nearly three-quarters of the territory of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina - in all the occupied towns and cities under siege.
